Attendance

Guidance regarding attending school and illness can be found here: Is my child too ill for school? - NHS (http://www.nhs.uk)
We will be sending out an updated attendance leaflet for parents and carers with a reminder of the school's attendance policy and procedures.

Autumn Term Concert

The School will be holding an Autumn Term Concert on Wednesday 4 October at 6.30pm in the Theatre. The evening will include a variety of performances from the music department, as well as a snapshot of our upcoming school musical, “Grease”.  All those students involved have been issued with a letter with reply slip that needs to be returned to Mrs Hanna regarding tickets.  Good luck to all those rehearsing in the build-up to the event!

Curriculum

A reminder that details of what your child will be learning throughout this year, and how this links to prior and future learning, can be found on the curriculum area of the school website: Curriculum - Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form

Prospective Parents, Carers and Student Visits

Coffee mornings for prospective Year 6 parents started this week; if you ask your child, they may have seen parent groups visiting their lessons and seeing the school on a normal day.  We look forward to the coffee mornings continuing over the next few weeks and welcoming the Year 6 cohort.
