Taylor has always gone above and beyond to contribute to school life and to be a role model to others. She is a keen Sports Ambassador, House Council Rep and her achievements in sports shows dedication and commitment to the highest level.

In 2019, Taylor achieved 2nd place at the Hutton Roof Crags Fell Race, Cumbria and 4th place at the Todd Crag Fell Race, Cumbria.

Taylor came 4th in the Year 8 Girls’ British School Score Orienteering Championships in Heaton Park, Manchester and 3rd at an event in Black Park, Slough.

Taylor is the current Essex & Suffolk Schools’ Years 7 & 8 Girls Champion as well as the East Anglian Schools’ Years 7 & 8 Champion.

This year, Taylor will again be competing in the same orienteering events as last year along with the British Long-Distance Orienteering Championships in Hampshire, and also the British Middle Distance Championships in Cumbria, plus a selection of Fell Races when away on holiday.

Furthermore, Taylor’s love of orienteering shows maturity and a level of skill beyond her years. She really enjoys it and has found her ideal running sports that she is happy competing in. Getting wet and muddy and having the odd tumble doesn't seem to faze here either!
