We are sure most of our Year 11 students, parents and carers are aware, our Prom is being held at the Essex Golf and Country Club this evening, To allow everything to go as smoothly as possible, please could everyone note the following important information. Arrivals are from 6pm. Parents and carers are welcome to come a little before this, so they are ready to see their child/children arrive. Students should not arrive before this time however, as the venue and our staff will not be ready for them.
Families must stand behind the barriers away from the building, as the area next to the building will be reserved for our students and staff.
Our media team will be covering the prom as usual. Please try not to obstruct them as they will be trying to get as many photos of each arrival as possible. As soon as humanly possible, all the edited, unwatermarked photos will be freely available to download from our prom website prom.notleyhigh.com
Students are strongly encouraged to look for our photographers (they will be difficult to miss!), strike a pose and smile. We know they will be keen to join their friends, but the longer they give our team to take their photos, the more photos they are likely to get in the final edit.
After the arrivals have finished, there will be an opportunity for each student to have an individual formal photo taken in the venue. Each year these are by far the most ordered photos, so please be patient and make sure you come to get yours taken.
In addition to being able to freely download all the edited photos, each prom ticket includes one free 7”x10” mounted print per student, payable via ParentPay. Once the photos are all online, the order form will be available. It is essential that you do complete this form to order your free print. Without an order form, our team will not know which photo you want, and you will not receive a print.
Order forms must be completed by 18 July 2025. Orders received by this deadline will be available for collection on GCSE exam results day. Uncollected prints will be available for collection from reception after the school returns in September.
Above all, enjoy the prom. It’s always a glittering occasion!
