The first session was delivered by Mr Townsend, the Deputy Headteacher of Felsted school where a workshop was delivered based on good leadership. Mr Lee, Vice-Principle of Maltings Academy then followed by delivering a session on Discipline with Dignity which even included students making their own jam sandwiches!
Our very own Mrs Kelly then coached students on how to be good public speakers with 25 handy tips. Following on from this were some practical team building activities that were organised by some Sixth Form students, which culminated in the creation of the 'perfect prefect' in the afternoon.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the activities that they participated in. Chenise Smith, 10B, said 'Today has been really useful in terms of helping us to bond as a team and I am now equipped with the skills required to perform my prefecr duties.'
Many thanks to Mrs Townsend for organising the day's events.
