On Friday 25th April, 11 students visited John Ray Junior School to deliver a 30 minute literacy lesson to a year 4 class as part of the completion of their Literacy Leader Award.There were four different groups delivering lessons to four different classes. The lessons covered topics such as adjectives, as well as the use of similes and metaphors. The students involved were Matthew Brand-Barker, Maisie King, Ross Dawson, Charlotte Hawrylak, Chenise Smith, Holly Clarke, Chloe Elms, Paige Bartlett, Verity Forster, Kaitlyn Short and Isabella Coffey. The staff at John Ray Junior School were impressed with the standard and quality of the teaching and learning delivered by our Year 9 students. Congratulations to you all.
