On the week commencing 28th April, 4 Year 8 students held a fundraising event to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. This particular hospital is the leading institution focused on finding better ways to treat childhood illnesses. Each year over 220000 patients visit the hospital some of whom are students at Notley High School. And because they do such a great job, our students wanted to give back by doing a little fundraising for them. There were a number of different activities organised including ‘Name the Teddy’, Lucky dip and a raffle. They also had a bake sale and a lucky lollipop game. In doing so they raised £200 which will help to change children’s lives for the better. They would like to convey their gratitude to all those that took part and donated.
