Dear Parents/Carers,

On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th of July, our annual Sports Day will be held at Notley.

On the 3rd of July, students will be completing their Field events, therefore, only those taking part in a field event will need to be present with all other students completing lessons as normal.

On the 4th of July in the afternoon, all students and staff will make their way out on to the field from Period 4 onwards to support their classmates and tutor groups as students compete in the main track events.

Competitors are required to come to school in their normal school uniform and then change before and after their events take place. Students will get changed during form time, break or lunch in either the Sports Hall or the Gym changing rooms (Years 7 and 8 in the Gym) (Years 9 and 10 in the Sports Hall).

If your child is not participating in Sports Day, they need to wear their normal school uniform across the two days, unless they are due to take part in a PE lesson. 

Unfortunately, parents/guardians are unable to attend Sports Day.

Below is a reminder of the school PE kit that can be worn. There are no exceptions to the below PE kit. This can also be found on the school website for further details. 

Please ensure students have enough water for the day. Students will be able to purchase water or fill their bottles at break and lunchtime and there will be a water station out on the field. Students may also need sunscreen as the weather continues to be warm.
