Pupils ditched their school ties and blazers to raise money for children.
Notley High School youngsters made a donation for the privilege of coming to school in their casual clothes and also raised money by selling cakes.
In total £835.93 was raised by the Braintree school for the Little Havens Children’s Hospice in Thundersley.
The charity’s community fundraiser Leanne Overett said: “As the care provided at Little Havens is free of charge, everyone at Notley High School has really helped to make a difference to the children and families we look after.”
The charity provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for children and young people living with serious conditions and who are not expected to reach adulthood. |
